KU won despite playing much of the second half without Tyshawn Taylor, who left the game with leg cramps, according to a CBS report.
The Jayhawks held the Titans to 32-percent shooting (20-for-63) and 18-percent shooting from three-point range (3-for-17).
Elijah Johnson added 15 points on 6-for-8 shooting, while Taylor was the only other KU player in double figures with 10.
KU (28-6) will play 10th-seeded Purdue at 7:40 p.m. Sunday.
